WELCOME TO OUR ENERGY DEBATE INITIATIVE !

Up to date technologies for using five renewable energy sources which are normally considered to be both fully renewable and environmentally friendly.
The purpose of our Fossil Energy Chapter is to present some information about the origins, nature, history, uses and abuses of this abundant but declining source of energy.
In our new Alternative Energy Chapter you can read useful information about the technology of using geothermal and other distinctive energy sources.
You may also find an interesting study about the peaceful use of nuclear energy for electricity production. Visit the history of nuclear power and of its public acceptance.
A study was also conducted to provide a cross-national, comparative analysis of public understanding of, and attitudes towards several energy sources in seven European countries at the end of last year. Please visit its results and evaluation.
